As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Community Roots Counseling, I’m passionate about creating a space where people feel truly seen, supported, and empowered to grow. I started this practice with the belief that healing happens best in community—where we can be honest, challenged, and encouraged through every season of life.

My therapeutic approach is warm and down-to-earth, while also being direct when needed. I believe in telling the truth with kindness, holding space for what’s hard, and using humor where appropriate to bring a little lightness into the room. Life can be heavy—but I don’t believe therapy always has to be.

I use an integrative style, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to meet each client where they are and tailor the process to their needs. I believe my clients are the key to their own change—my role is to walk alongside you with support, challenge, and care as you navigate your healing journey.

Whether you’re here for personal growth, navigating relationships, parenting challenges, or working through past wounds, I’m honored to be part of your story. You don’t have to figure it all out alone—let’s work through it together.

There are times in life when things feel heavier than usual. Old wounds may resurface, life transitions can feel overwhelming, or patterns that once worked may no longer seem to help. In those moments, having a supportive space to pause, reflect, and talk things through can make a meaningful difference.

In our work together, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are. Therapy should feel supportive, respectful, and free from judgment. I believe people grow when they feel truly heard and when they have the opportunity to explore their experiences in a space that is both safe and honest.

Together, we’ll take a collaborative approach to understanding what you’re going through and identifying the next steps that feel right for you. Through this process, many people begin to gain clarity, build resilience, and reconnect with their strengths in ways that help them move forward with greater confidence.

As a Master’s level Associate Social Worker, I support children, teens, adults, and families navigating life’s challenges. I have worked within our local community for many years, walking alongside clients through seasons of growth, loss, and self-discovery. My experience also includes supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and those facing systemic or relational challenges.

My approach to therapy is flexible and collaborative. I believe there is no single path to healing, so we will work together to find a style of therapy that fits who you are and what you need. Whether you are processing past experiences, navigating change, or hoping for something in life to feel different, we will take those steps together at a pace that feels right for you.

You don’t have to carry difficult things alone. Whatever you’re facing, there is space for it here, and we can work through it together—one step at a time.

Many people come to therapy when life starts to feel overwhelming—whether that’s from trauma, school stress, anxiety, depression, or questions about identity and belonging. When these experiences pile up, it can start to feel like your usual ways of coping just aren’t enough, leaving you unsure where to turn or how to move forward.

My goal in therapy is to create a space that feels safe, honest, and genuinely welcoming. I take a person-centered approach, which means I meet you where you are and tailor our work together to your unique experiences and needs. I prioritize transparency, empathy, and unconditional positive regard so you can feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self. When clients feel heard, accepted, and supported without judgment, meaningful growth becomes possible.

Together, we work as a team to better understand what you’re experiencing, build practical coping tools, and help you move toward greater self-understanding, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.

As a Master’s level intern in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I have spent the past several years working right here in the county supporting children (age 5 and up), teens, young adults, couples, and families. My experience includes helping people navigate challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, school difficulties, and everyday life stress. I also work with individuals who identify as neurodivergent, including those with ADHD or Autism, and support clients exploring or expressing their gender identity.

When desired, I provide affirming and supportive care for individuals exploring or expressing their gender identity and for members of the LGBTQ+ community seeking a safe and respectful space for therapy. My goal is to help clients grow, feel more at home in themselves, and build a stronger sense of self-worth and authenticity.

You don’t have to carry everything on your own. Therapy can be a place where we slow down, set things down together, and begin figuring out how to make what you’re carrying feel lighter.
